5 Ways To Well with Luisa Scilironi

Luisa, founder of New Moon Wellness, shares her 5 wellbeing essentials.

 

 

1. Daily Cacao.

I start every morning with a big mug of cacao, it really is a non-negotiable for me! It is full of minerals and antioxidants, releases serotonin and opens my heart for the day! I notice a big difference if I skip a day! 

 

2. Movement.

I love exercise in every way shape and form and it really boosts my moods. Some days it's as simple as walking around the park with the children, other days it's a heavy workout in the gym and if the weather is dry I love getting out in the fresh air for a run.

 

3. Spending Time By The Sea.

I have always been a wuss with the cold so it is usually a quick dip at this time of year but I try getting in the sea when I can to give myself a reset.  I love being by the sea, as a family it is our happy place so we spend a lot of time on the beach even in the winter.

 

4. Listening To Music.

We have music in the house from the minute we wake up and it is constantly playing in the background when we are at home. I find music can change my attitude for the day, if I'm struggling with motivation I put on some drum and bass and it works wonders.  

 

5. Journaling.

I often have a lot going on in my head and when I do I can't live without my journal. I find it so helpful to write down what is on my mind and it helps me clear and process my thoughts really quickly.  I also love jotting down the things I am grateful for or intentions I would like to make.
