Reflect on the intentions you set on the New Moon and use the energy of Taurus to ground into the moment and take action. Our decisions today really do design our tomorrow and sometimes when we are setting long term goals it can be easy to miss out on the present moment.
Creating small steps and mini goals in the now will build the foundations to hit your bigger long term dreams. With so much Aquarian energy around recently it can leave us a little up in the clouds - which is a fun place to be but without a bit of grounding we can be floating up there without achieving much.
Grounding is a practice Luisa, founder of New Moon Wellness, does regularly. We are spoilt in Guernsey with so much beautiful nature, so she advises you to take your pick and settle comfortably in your favourite outdoor space. Don’t forget your journal and follow these steps:
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Inhale slowly through your nose, allowing your lungs to fill with air, and exhale gently through your mouth. Focus on the sensation of your breath.
Notice the sounds around you: the breeze in the trees, the sound of the birds, the sea if you are near the coast. Allow it to be the central focus of your awareness.
Pay attention to the smells, feel the breeze against your skin.
Open your eyes and take in the beauty around you, bring yourself back to the present moment if your mind starts to wander.
Once you are feeling grounded write down three small action steps that you can take now to achieve your goals and make a promise to yourself to keep them.
You will be amazed how quickly these small steps turn into the big ones.
